Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has praised former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy for his significant contributions to the achievement of a separate Telangana State.
The Chief Minister adorned his portrait with a garland on the occasion of Jaipal Reddy's birth anniversary in New Delhi on Thursday.
In his remarks, Revanth Reddy noted that Jaipal Reddy progressed in his political journey from his village to the national capital by adhering firmly to ethical principles.
He described Jaipal Reddy as the finest Parliamentarian in the nation, emphasizing the impact of his extraordinary speeches, both as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the united Andhra Pradesh and in both Houses of the Indian Parliament.
Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Zaheerabad MP Suresh Shetkar, Bellampalli and Parigi MLAs Gaddam Vinod and Rammohan Reddy, Government Advisor Shabbir Ali, Congress leaders Rohin Reddy and Vidyasagar were present.
Meanwhile, the Telangana government organised birth anniversary event of the departed leader at his resting place, Spoorthi Sthal, on the Necklace Road in Hyderabad. Former vice president of India M Venkaiah Naidu, family members of Jaipal Reddy, family members of Revanth Reddy and others participated.
